Round Ireland With a Fridge
So far ive generally enjoyed this book. This is a story i wouldn't usually find myself reading. However it is entertaining and passes by the time. I find this book rather comical and interesting due to the fact the whole book is based off of a drunk bet. I like how the author knows from the start this is not a serious story and doesn't try to make it serious. I also feel the author isnt exaggerating the story very much which to me is a big plus. Its irritating if the whole story is exaggerate and not nearly as true as the person says it is. I thought in particular the whole baptizing of the fridge was pretty funny because of just how strange of an even that would be. I also find it pretty interesting that the author would even go through with the bet. I dont think id have the willpower to do such a task especially if it was after a drunken night. overall though the book gets kinda boring and i have trouble sticking with it at times but it is entertaining at parts but in the end im just not that into the story. it seems like it would be a much better story if it was told in person by the author since it is an event of his life and i just think it would be more interesting to be heard than to be read.

Hey! I agree that this book isn’t one that I would pick up and read on my own. I wasn’t too excited to be reading it, especially during the first few chapters… but now I really enjoy it and I think it is pretty funny too. I love that the book is based off a drunken bet and one of its main characters is a fridge! I also would not have the willpower to go through with a bet like that, I wish I did though because it would be an amazing experience! I bet it was really funny to see everyone’s reactions to seeing a fridge surfing and being baptized, I don’t even know how I would react if I saw something like that, I think I would just be really confused and then laugh really hard. Haha. I also think that the story would be much better to hear from the author rather than reading about it, especially because he’s a comedian so I bet he tells stories very well. I think I would have been able to get into the story a lot easier if I would have heard it instead of having to read it.
